PEOPLE Magazine Names the Sexiest Man Alive

It must have been hard for People Magazine to choose from the list handsome of male celebrities, but soccer legend David Beckham has earned the title of Sexiest Man of Alive 2015.

When the announcement was made on ABC's Jimmy Kimmel Live late-night show, The Guardian reports that Beckham joked that the title is "the best moment of [his] career."

All joking aside, it seems that Beckham is more modest about his looks than you'd think.

“I never feel that I’m an attractive, sexy person,” Beckham told People magazine. “I mean I like to wear nice clothes and nice suits and look and feel good, but I don’t ever think of myself that way.”

Honestly, we're surprised that it took this long for the British star to earn this award... 

A man with good looks and personality? And looks great in pair of jeans?
